Wonderful Music-Themed Hotel Stay

I enjoyed the decor. The music theme runs throughout the hotel. I specifically liked the mirrors in the bar signed by celebrities. It added a unique touch. The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. I also appreciated the complimentary cheese and wine with live piano music each evening.

The payment precharge remained on my account for several days. This resulted in two charges appearing simultaneously. It would be better to finalize payments upon arrival to prevent this issue.

the staff seemed friendly enough which was acceptable.

the room smelled very strongly of smoke, i told someone at reception. they said they would send someone to sort it but nobody ever came. it really affected my stay and i am so annoyed about it.

the hotel is near st stephen's basilica, very convenient. the room i stayed in had a comfy bed. housekeeping kept everything tidy, and breakfasts tasted delicious. staff were helpful.

the rooftop bar was a little busy, requiring reservations.

acceptable stay, certain aspects lacking

cold pool water broken jacuzzi

the location was good for seeing the city center sights, that i have to admit.

the spa fell short of expectations, i must say. the sauna was out of service one day, the jacuzzi was broken another. the pool water also felt cold and it made it less enjoyable after a while, i won't lie.

Really good stay with music theme

music theme heart hotel complimentary wine lovely touch

The decor is interesting.. the music theme runs throughout the entire hotel. Staff are amazing. They are the beating heart of the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I especially appreciated the complimentary cheese and wine between 4:00 and 6:00pm every evening with live piano music, made a big difference. the daily 6:15pm knock on the door brought chocolates every time. It was such a lovely touch.
